Ireland dramatically beat the Netherlands after a 'Golden Over' after the sides amazingly tied their latest world cup Twenty20 warm up game at Lords.
Set 136 for victory, Ireland fell one run short of victory when they could only manage one run off the final ball, which led to an extra over each.
Ireland scored six in the extra over for the loss of one wicket, but they got two Dutch wickets to claim victory.
The Netherlands decided to bat after winning the toss and quickly lost two early wickets as Alexi Kervezee and Bas Zuideren fell with the Dutch falling to 19 for 2 in the third over with Boyd Rankin and Peter Connell taking the first two to fall.
Darron Reekers hit 20 off 18 deliveries to take the score to 49, but he fell to left arm spinner Regan West.
Eric Swarczynski was then run out going for a third run as the Netherlands fell to 60 for 4 in the 8th over.
Ryan ten Doeschate and Peter Borren came together with the score on 89 for 5 and pushed Netherlands to 117 before Borren perished off the bowling of Connell - this after he had cracked two massive sixes off Kyle McCallan.
McCallan though got the wickets of dangerman ten Doeschate (29) and Edgar Schiferli (0) in successive deliveries as the Netherlands fell to 122 for 8, going on to eventally make 135 for 9 off their allotted 20 overs.
In reply, Ireland lost opener Jeremy Bray, caught behind for nought with only five runs on the board, and captain William Porterfield followed quickly for 11 as they slumped to 15 for 2 in the fourth over.
Paul Sterling and Andre Botha came together to take the score to 71 before a mix-up between the pair led to Sterling being run out for 27 in the 11th over.
Kevin O'Brien fell quickly afterwards with Ireland reduced to 75 for 4, followed not long after by Botha who had contributed a fine 35 to the Irish cause.
Wicketkeeper Gary Wilson and Trent Johnston moved the score onto 109 before Johnston skied one when on 17 and was caught as Ireland lost their sixth wicket.
Wilson scored two successive boundaries in the penultimate over, which meant that the Irish needed 9 off the last over that was bowled by Pieter Seelar and he got the crucial wicket of Wilson (22).
Regan West, however, scored six off the last 3 balls leaving Ireland to score two runs off the final ball.
Only a single ensured and the game was tied, which meant a 'Golden Over’ as one bowler from each team bowled six balls each against a maximum of four batsmen on each side.
Ireland made six for one, but the Dutch lost two wickets for two runs as Johnston ran out ten Deschate to claim a dramatic win.
Ireland's final warm-up game is against the West Indies at the Oval tomorrow before the squad head to Nottingham to prepare for their opening Group A game against Bangladesh next Monday.
