Jason Quigley made the best possible start to his professional boxing career with a first round stoppage against American Howard Reece in Las Vegas last night.
Quigley stopped his opponent 82 seconds into the first round of his opening pro bout.
Reece had previously six of his eight professional fights.
The fight took place on the undercard of the Canelo Alvarez and Erislandy Lara fight at the MGM Grand.
Quigley said on his official Facebook page: "I'd like to thank my father and coach and my team for all the work we done preparing for this fight and Golden Boy for giving me the best stage in the world to show what I (have) got (at) the MGM Grand Las Vegas.
"Big thank you to my management team SheerSportMGMT and all my fans that travelled to Vegas to watch me and everybody at home for the support. It has been amazing, thank you."
