Olympic champion Katie Taylor is through to her 16th major final following victory over Denitsa Eliseeva in the Women's European Boxing Championships in Bucharest.

She will box for a record sixth European lightweight gold medal tomorrow following her unanimous decision victory over Bulgaria's Eliseeva.

She will fight  Estelle Mossley of France in the decider after she rather surprisingly defeated Russian Sofia Ochigava in the second of the lightweight semi-finals.

There was dissapointment for Kilkenny weltwerweight Clare Grace who lost out to Britain's Stacey Copeland in the last four of the 69kg division, but Grace takes home a bronze medal from the championship and at 20-years-old is one for the future.
