Ireland's Kazakhstan international cancelled due to visa troubles

Ireland’s elite international tournament against Kazakhstan has been cancelled after the Kazakhstan team were unable to travel because of visa difficulties.

The teams had been due to meet the National Stadium in Dublin. The Irish Amateur Boxing Association said that it hoped the international could be rescheduled.

Sunday’s meeting between an Irish selection and Kazakhstan in New Ross, Wexford has also been cancelled.
