Western Warrior Henry Coyle beats Marcelo Rodriguez to retain WBF title

Mayo’s Henry Coyle has retained his WBF light middleweight title after defeating Marcelo Rodriguez in Castlebar on Saturday night.

The Chicago-based Geesala boxer won after a unanimous points’ decision against the Argentinean at the Royal Theatre.

There were also wins for Cavan’s Andy Murray, Brendan Fitzpatrick, John Hutchinson, Michael Waldron and Chris Goodwin.
