John Joe Nevin helped Paris United secure all three points in the World Series of Boxing (WSB) with a convincing win over 2010 European quarter-finalist Selcuk Eker in Istanbul on Friday night.
Cavan bantamweight Nevin, who beat Olympic bronze medallist Vincenzo Picardi of Milan last time out, dominated all five rounds to claim a unanimous decision over the Turk.
Nevin's Paris United team-mates Arthur Schmidt and Ludovic Groghue also won in the five-bout match to lift the French side to the top of the table on a 3-2 win over Istanbul after three matches in the European group.
Twelve teams in Asia, the Americas and Europea are fighting it out over 12-matches in three WSB groups across three continents.
Ken Egan's Miami side beat Mexico City 3-2 on Thursday night in the Americas group.
Egan wasn't in the team as he is serving a 45-day medical suspension after picking up a cut over his right eye in last month's win over Los Angeles.
