Ireland will face England in the first of two internationals at the Castlecourt Hotel in Westport, Co Mayo tonight.

Both countries then meet for a second time at the Ramada Hotel in Ballina tomorrow evening.

The double-header of senior internationals is being hosted by the St Anne's and Arnaree clubs.

AIBA World Youth and European Youth champions Ray Moylette, who captains the Irish side, and European Youth champion Jason Quigley will be in action at the Castlecourt Hotel.

Meanwhile, Moylette's St Anne's team-mate Danny Coughlan will clash with Haroon Khan, brother of 2004 Olympic silver medallist and current World champion Amir.

Ken Egan, a silver medal winner at the Beijing Olympics, will also be between the ropes in Westport.

Egan was originally slated to meet Gary Barr, but the English light heavyweight withdrew injured and Egan will now face Brendan Fitzpatrick of the West Finglas club in an additional bout instead.

Beijing Olympian John Joe Joyce, Roy Sheahan and Eric Donovan have been named on the Irish squad for Thursday evening.

Tickets costing €10 are available at the door for tonight's international at the Castlecourt Hotel. Boxing begins at 8pm.
