Taylor safely through to quarters

Katie Taylor beat China's Dong Cheng 10-2 at the Sports Palace in St Petersburg, Russia on Wednesday night to advance to the quarter finals of an International Box-Off.
The bout was a repeat of last November’s AIBA World lightweight final which Taylor won 13-2 in Ningbo City, China.
Taylor will now meet Ayzanet Gadzhieva of Russia in Thursday’s quarter final.
The Bray woman beat Gadzhieva 20-2 in the semi finals of the AIBA World Championships in Ningbo City.
