Taylor takes gold once more

World and European lightweight champion Katie Taylor has added yet another gold medal to her collection.

The Bray lightweight won gold in an international event in Russia, beating Dariy Abramova in the 60kg final by 21 point to 6.

Meanwhile, Saturday night’s scheduled Irish light welterweight fight between Andy Murray and Jamsie Gorman at the stadium has been called off.

This is as a result of an injury sustained by Gorman in his pre fight work out on Thursday.

Top of the bill tomorrow night is the middleweight clash of Mathew Macklin and veteran Yori Boy Campas.

The fight will be live on RTÉ Two and www.rte.ie/live from 9pm.
