Vincent's denied semi-final place

St Vincent's were denied a place in the ESB National Cup finals weekend when they went down 99-95 to Notre Dame on Sunday. Leading by 12 points going into the final quarter, a 20-point contribution from Anthony Jenkins put an end to Vincent's' cup campaign. Elsewhere, Mardyke UCC Demons overcame Tolka Rovers 80-74 to secure their semi-final spot, while earlier in the weekend Dart Killester defeated UCD Marian and Sx3 Star defeated Waterford Crystal.

In the Senior Women's Cup, University of Limerick will meet Tolka Rovers in the first semi-final while Drimnagh will appear in their first ever cup weekend when they take on the Waterford Wildcats. The draw for the men's semi-finals will take place in the National Basketball Arena on Monday, December 9th.
