Reigning champion Fionnuala Britton heads a 30-strong Irish team for next month's European Cross Country Championships in Belgrade.

Britton and Sarah Treacy are the only members of the gold-medal team who are returning to defend that title.

Inter-counties champion Paul Pollock leads a men’s team that includes brothers Michael and Dan Mulhare along with Joe Sweeney, David McCarthy and Stephen Scullion.

Ireland will also have teams in the two junior races and in the men’s under 23 event.
