Irish athlete Tomas Rauktys has been banned for two years after being found guilty of doping offences.

Rauktys, a discus and shot put thrower, tested positive for prohibited substance Stanozolol after his win at the National Championships.

He will have his two-year ban backdated to 15 August - the date on which he was provisionally suspended by Athletics Ireland.

Rauktys’ results from the 27 July to the time of his provisional suspension on the 15 August are also disqualified.
