Paul Hession is through to the semi-finals of the 200metres event in the European Athletics Championships in Barcelona.
Hession finished second in his heat in a time to 20.69, one hundreth of a second behind winner Marlon Devonish.
Hession's time was the sixth fastest overall.
Steven Colvert failed to progess after finishing seventh in his heat.
