Ryan claims Women's Mini Marathon

The 27th Flora Women's Mini Marathon attracted over 40,000 entrants on Bank Holiday Monday with victory going to Rosemary Ryan.

The Limerick native clocked a time of 34 minutes 36 second which was more than a minute faster than last years winning time.

Offaly woman Pauline Curley came in second, a full minute behind the winner and 40 year-old Annette Kealy from Raheny ran in third in 36:03, with Siobhan O'Doherty from Tipperary fourth in 36:41.
