Barclays Premier League

Manchester United have returned to the top of the Premier League table with a 2-1 victory over old rivals Liverpool at Old Trafford, thanks to goals from Wayne Rooney and Ji-Sung Park.

Elsewhere today in the Premier League, Fulham fell victim to a European hangover as Manchester City won 2-1 at Craven Cottage, and Chelsea will be keen to make amends for their Champions League exit away to Blackburn.
