Liverpool - Ger Having A Laugh

Rafa Benitez is probably the only man glad of Thierry Henry did because it's managed to get "how bad Liverpool" are off the back pages. It's high noon at Anfield this Saturday when Liverpool take on Manchester City, on current form it looks like being Liverpool that will drop out of the top four and Manchester City are one of a handful of teams that have aspirations of leapfrogging them. Because Liverpool are at home Paddy Power make them 10/11, slight favourites to win the game and you'd be a brave man backing them at that price.

Mark Hughes has to be telling his Manchester City side they'll not get a better chance of beating Liverpool at Anfield than this weekend. Birmingham would have got three points there had it not been for David Ngog's theatrics so City look a great price at 16/5 to get the win.

10/11 Liverpool win
23/10 Draw
16/5 Man City win

Paddy Power Money-Back Special Ger-Havin A Laugh

If Steven Gerrard scores the last goal in the Liverpool v Man City match Paddy Power will refund all losing 1st/last scorer, correct score and score cast bets on the match.

Is Steven Gerrard fully fit? Probably not but even a 75% fully fit Steven Gerrard is better than most midfielders in The Premier League. Liverpool need some of his heroics to pull their season out of the doldrums, he's 11/2 to score the first in the match. Whether Liverpool can hold out against all the City attackers is another matter.

Carlos Tevez will love playing against Liverpool, as will Craig Bellamy when you put those two with Emmanuel Adebayor who's back from injury Liverpool's patched up defence are going to have their work cut out.

First Scorer
11/2 Gerrard
6/1 Ngog
6/1 Babel
13/2 Kuyt
15/2 Adebayor
9/1 Robinho
9/1 Tevez
11/1 Bellamy
14/1 Ireland
14/1 Petrov
16/1 Wright Phillips
