Dublin v Meath team news

watch

Meath have made two changes from the team that overcame Kildare for their eagerly-awaited Leinster SFC clash with Dublin at Croke Park on Sunday, throw-in 4.00pm.

Graham Geraghty replaces the suspended Brian Farrell, with Joe Sheridan moving into the edge of the square to allow the two-time All-Ireland winner take up position at left corner-forward.

Peter Curran comes in for Niall McLoughlin at right half-forward with the Meath management team obviously pleased with the results of that half-time switch against the Lilywhites.

Meath boss Colm Coyle has brought Shane O'Rourke, son of Meath legend and Colm, into his squad for the Dublin match.

The RTÉ GAA analyst's nephew, Hugh John O'Reilly, has also been drafted in.

Meanwhile, Ross McConnell at full-back and Diarmuid Connolly at left half-forward will make their championship debuts for Dublin on Sunday.

Both have cut their teeth during the NFL and played their way into Paul Caffrey's starting XV.

McConnell's father played with Meath in the 1970s, while his grandfather Kevin senior was an All-Ireland medal winner with Meath in 1949 and 1954.

Darren Magee will partner Ciaran Whelan at midfield, while Shane Ryan is named on the '40'.

Jason Sherlock and Kevin Bonner have not made it back from injury to make the starting XV.

Croke Park officials have confirmed that Sunday's double bill will be a sell-out. All tickets have issued and based on sales in the counties and by the Leinster Council, no returns are expected.

In excess of 82,000 people are expected to be in attendance.
