Caffrey philosophical after relegation

Dublin football manager Paul Caffrey is philosophical following his side's relegation to the National League Division Two.

Dublin's fate was confirmed when they lost 1-12 to 2-7 against Kerry in Parnell Park at the weekend, but Caffrey insists the relegation is not a disaster.

'The judges of football will say that there won't be a whole lot of difference between Division One and Two football next year,' he said.

'The big fear was dropping to Division (Three) but that doesn't take away from the fact that we are very disappointed.'

'I think as a group, we have to take it on the chin that we lost away to Donegal - which was a poor performance - but we have lost on other days when we have played particularly good football but we were left a bit short.'
