Ireland U19 10-15 Australia U19

Australia came from behind to get their IRB U-19 World Championship title defence off to a winning start against Ireland at Ravenhill.

A 14th-minute try from Blackrock winger Niall Morris, who collected a cross-field kick from Scott Deasy to score, had Ireland 5-0 in front at half-time.

Australia lost their scrum half Jeremy Su'a to the sin-bin and then number eight Michael Uoka was sent-off, just before the break, for using a swinging arm at a ruck.

Two tries from winger Andrew Barrett shot the Aussies ahead, and although replacement hooker Michael Sherry muscled over for Ireland, a Rowan Kellam penalty saw the champions home.
