Bolton Wanderers v West Ham United team news

Gary Speed is set to make a record 500th Premier League appearance tomorrow when Bolton Wanderers face a West Ham United with injury problems at centre half at the Reebok Stadium.

The 37-year-old midfielder aims to help the team get back on track after a poor run that has seen them collect only four points from a possible 21.

Full-back Ricardo Gardner is likely to be on the bench after recovering from a knee injury while Tal Ben Haim is suspended. Quinton Fortune remains doubtful with an Achilles problem.

Anton Ferdinand has an ankle injury and is a doubt for West Ham while fellow centre half Danny Gabbidon remains sidelined with a hamstring strain.

The Hammers will also make a late check on Javier Mascherano after the midfielder suffered a knock in training.

Provisional Bolton squad: Jaaskelainen, Hunt, Meite, Faye, Pedersen, Gardner, Fortune, Speed, Campo, Nolan, Giannakopoulos, Diouf, Anelka, Davies, Vaz Te, Al Habsi, Tal, Fojut.

Provisional West Ham squad: Green, Spector, Ferdinand, Konchesky, Benayoun, Mullins, Reo-Coker, Etherington, Sheringham, Harewood, Cole, Zamora, Tevez, McCartney, Mascherano, Kiraly, Bowyer.
