Kurten drops in world rankings

Jessica Kurten has dropped to number four in the latest world rankings, issued today by the International Equestrian Federation.

The 37-year-old had been ranked world number two for most of the year, but dropped to third in October and, after a quiet couple of months, is now down to number four.

Kurten's great rival, Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum of Germany has moved up to the number two slot and takes over from Kurten as leading lady rider.
