Foley ruled out for two months

Munster have been dealt a major injury blow with the news that Anthony Foley will be out of action for up to two months with a shoulder injury.

Foley sustained the injury during Sunday's win over Leicester in the Heineken Cup, and will now miss his side's European clash with Bourgoin as well as back to back games with Cardiff in December.

The number eight underwent a scan on his right shoulder yesterday and saw a specialist this morning who confirmed the extent of the injury.

Foley is Munster's most capped player, having played in 77 of their 78 Heineken Cup games.
