Bromby signs new deal with the Blades

Sheffield United defender Leigh Bromby has signed a new three-year deal with the Premiership newcomers.

The deal for the 26-year-old, who has made 91 appearances for the Bramall Lane club since his move across the city from Sheffield Wednesday two years ago, has an option of a further year.

Blades boss Neil Warnock told the club's official website, www.sufc.co.uk: 'Leigh is a class act, a quality defender who I expect to flourish at the highest level.

'Securing his services for such a long time shows we are serious about making a go of things.'
