Shels beat 9-man Bohs to make the final

Joseph Ndo booked Shelbourne's passage through to the eircom League Cup final with a 1-0 win over 9-man Bohemians.

Bohs, had both Vinny Arkins and Jason McGuinness sent off, started without their injured player/manager Gareth Farrelly, but began the brighter.

However, after just eight minutes they had striker Arkins sent off for catching Shels defender Colin Hawkins with an arm.

Having held their own until the interval, Bohs tired as the second half wore on and Shels' numerical advantage finally began to tell.

Ollie Cahill had a shot taken off the line by Des Byrne before the only goal arrived on 77 minutes.

Ndo sent Glen Crowe in on goal and the Cameroonian arrived to stab home the square ball.

Bohs' frustration got the better of them on 88 minutes when central defender McGuinness received his second yellow card following a goalmouth scuffle.

In the end Ndo's strike was the decider, and Shels will play either Limerick FC or Derry City next month
