Ecuador boss may make changes

Ecuador coach Luis Fernando Suarez has not ruled out making changes for the match with Costa Rica that could see the South Americans qualify for the last 16 of the World Cup.

Ecuador produced a solid team performance in their opener on Friday as goals from Carlos Tenorio and Agustin Delgado helped them beat Poland 2-0 to get off to a flying start.

If Ecuador beat Costa Rica and Germany manage no worse than a draw against Poland, the Andean nation will reach the knockout stages ahead of their final group match with the Germans.

Suarez said: 'I am very pleased with the way the team played. No-one is injured and (skipper) Ivan Hurtado will be okay. But every match is different and I will consider my options.'
