Preview of Thurles action

The Thurles Handicap Hurdle is divided to form a seven-race all-jumps card with the first getting underway at 4.30pm.

Fiery Brown looks interesting on his handicap debut in the Templemore Handicap Hurdle.

Mouse Morris' gelding has shown ability in three maiden hurdle starts and looks on a fair mark.

Grange Glen looks the one to follow in the opening Devils Bit Mares Maiden Hurdle following a good run at Tramore last time.

She was chasing home the useful Cailin Alainn when falling at the last flight and that rival franked the form when taking a Grade 3 contest at Fariyhouse.

Mountgarry was a good winner at Tramore last time and may be able to defy a 7lb rise in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Chase.

Lady Kate Ellen found Kefaaf too strong at Cork last Sunday but may be able to go one better in the Horse and Jockey Beginners Chase while Name For Fame should go well in the Rock of
Cashel Beginners Chase.
