Leinster & Munster confirmed for April 23 clash

French television looks set to dictate that the Heineken Cup semi-final between Leinster and Munster will take place on Sunday, April 23.

The battle between Brian O'Driscoll and Anthony Foley's sides will kick-off at 3.00pm at Lansdowne Road on Sunday, 23 April with a place in the 11th Heineken Cup final at stake.

The first Heineken Cup semi-final, between French champions Biarritz Olympique Pays Basque and 1998 champions Bath Rugby, will be played on Saturday, 22 April.

Meanwhile, it looks as if both Leinster and Munster will get around 20,000 tickets each with the other 9,000 being distributed by the ERC.

That will mean that there will be no tickets on general sale for what is going to be one of the sporting highlights of the year at Lansdowne Road.
