Potential defensive crisis for Allardyce

Bolton manager Sam Allardyce faces a potential defensive crisis ahead of tomorrow's return leg of their UEFA Cup first-round tie against Bulgarian side Lokomotiv Plovdiv.

Ex-Limerick boss Allardyce is definitely without Ivan Campo who last week broke a bone in his right foot, along with Nicky Hunt who fractured his right leg late in Saturday's 1-0 victory at home to Portsmouth.

Also sidelined are Gary Speed with a back injury and Radhi Jaidi with a hamstring problem, while Abdoulaye Faye is doubtful with a groin injury, forcing Allardyce to call up 17-year-old Academy centre-back Jarik Fojut from Poland.

Team (from): Jaaskelainen, Nolan, N'Gotty, Giannakopoulos, Pedersen, Okocha, Gardner, Davies, Nakata, Borgetti, Diouf, O'Brien, Faye, Fernandes, Fojut, Walker.
