Stevens & Hendry to meet in NI final

Matthew Stevens recovered from a deficit of 4-1 to overtake Australian Neil Robertson 6-4 in the semi-finals of the Northern Ireland trophy in Belfast today.

Beaten World Championships finalist Stevens engineered breaks of 105, 55, 49 and 73 to complete his impressive comeback.

The quality of the Welshman's performance was highlighted his outscoring of Robertson by 447 to 27 in the closing five frames of the match.

Stevens will meet Stephen Hendry in the final after the Scot beat Alan McManus 6-3 in the other semi-final.
