Song rediscovering her tune

Soviet Song's connections have issued an upbeat report on her progress from injury, but a decision is still be made as to whether or not she will race in the upcoming flat season.

Owned by the Elite Racing Club, the five-year-old gave the thousands of club members some good days last season when she won three Group One races in a row, including the Sussex Stakes, and became one of Europe's leading milers.

However, she has had problems with lameness after suffering a fetlock injury that put her racing career in doubt.

"Nothing has been decided as yet but Soviet Song is progressing well,"  said the club's racing manager Matthew Budden.
