Tsunami fundraisers for Dalymount Park

Dalymount Park will host two charity games over the next week in aid of the tsunami victims.

An FAI/media team will take on an Oireachtas team at 7.30pm at the Phibsboro venue on Wednesday, January 26, in aid of GOAL's relief fund.

Republic of Ireland boss Brian Kerr and his assistant, Noel O'Reilly, will act as managers for the teams.

Both sides are also expected to include some celebrity guest players, while the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, has confirmed that he will officially kick off the game.

Further fundraising activities will take place around Ireland's friendly international against Portugal at Lansdowne Road on February 9.

Meanwhile, Bohemians' ground will host another fundraiser this Sunday, January 23.

Teams selected from the Chinese communities in Dublin and Belfast will line out against each other at 12 noon, with all proceeds going to the Irish Red Cross.

Tickets cost ¤2 each and are available on the day.
