Flat finale at Leopardstown

The Flat season's finale is set to go ahead as planned at Leopardstown on Sunday with the first of eight races is due to commence at 12.45pm.

Jamie Spencer returns from the Breeders' Cup meeting in Texas to be crowned Champion jockey and should be amounst the winners. His best chance will come aboard Yehudi for Aidan 
O'Brien in the Listed Eyrefield Stakes.

This two-year-old beat a stablemate when winning first time out at Navan and will appreciate the extra furlong here.

The Leopardstown November handicap may be taking place a day early, but is up to its usual standard with a competitive field of nineteen.

Recent winners Essex, Al Eile and Rosaker will figure towards the head of the market ultra-consistant Sophiyah is sure to be involved in the shake-up.

Senor Benny, the most improved horse of the season, attempts to win his second Listed contest when he lines up for the Knockaire Stakes over seven furlongs.

The remainder of the card includes two maximum field handicaps, a one mile two furlong conditions race and a two-year-old maiden.
