Synott hopes to lift Rovers' morale

Eircom League Premier Division Preview

Shamrock Rovers v Cork City

Temporary boss Noel Synott takes charge of Shamrock Rovers for the first time tonight and will hope to lift the morale of a side that's lost its last four games.

Keith Doyle and Stephen Grant are available again to give Rovers a full strength squad. Cork, who face three away games on the spin, wait on George O'Callaghan (hamstring), Alan Bennett (ankle) and John O'Flynn (groin).

"Rovers have lost four games in a row, but a new manager coming in will give them a lift," said Cork boss Pat Dolan.
