Sara free to play for Shelbourne

Eircom League champions Shelbourne completed the formalities of signing striker Juan Sara from Italian Serie C1 side Reggiana on Monday.

Shelbournefc.ie report that, having been signed last week, he is now clear to play for the defending league champions, both in domestic games and in the UEFA Cup.

Sara previously played for Dundee and Paraguayan side Cerro Portino. He also had a spell on loan at Coventry.

He makes his debut for Shelbourne in tonight's Under-21 game against Bohemians.
