Shelbourne beat City and move top

Shelbourne are top of the Eircom Premier League tonight after defeating Dublin City in Tolka Park.

Although City took an early lead from an Adam Rundle goal after nine minutes, Shelbourne's Owen Heary equalised after 37 minutes.

The rest of the night belonged to Jason Byrne when he blasted in three goals on the 47th, 40th and 75th minute.

Shelbourne are now on 47 points two ahead of Drogheda United.
