Burrows 10th in Finn class - Irish round-up

Ireland's David Burrows lies in 10th place in the men's Finn class after finishing eighth in the race ten of the competition today.
After a mixed start to the competition, Burrows has rose steadily up the rankings thanks to good performances in his last few races, although there will be no medal as there is only one race to go.
Britain's Ben Ainslie currently leads the field from Rafael Trujillo of Spain with Poland's Mateusz Kusznierewicz third and Karlo Kuret of Croatia in fourth place.
In the men's 470 sailing class, the Irish pair of Gerald Owens and Ross Killian finshed in fourth place in race nine but could only manage 16th place in race 10, while Rory Fitzpatrick is 34th in the Lazer class after finishing 27th today in race seven.
In the men's 49ers Tom Fitzpatrick and Fraser Brown finished 12th and 5th today and lie in 11th place.
And in the women's Europe class, Maria Coleman lies in 14th position of the Europe class after race seven today.
