Preview of Leopardstown action

Leopardstown plays host to a seven race Flat card including two Listed events beginning at 6.00pm, and the jackpot pool is guaranteed for ¤15,000.

Cruzspiel ran a cracker on his reappearance when a close-up third to stable-companion Mkuzi in the Curragh Cup last month and, with the benefit of that run, can take the Challenge
Stakes.

Barolo, an impressive handicap winner at Goodwood, and Queen's Vase runner-up Two Miles West are the chief dangers.

Silk And Scarlet made a promising debut here last month, and can confirm placings with National Swagger by landing the Listed Silver Flash Stakes for two-year-old fillies.

Vodafone are a major sponsor on the evening, and the valuable ten furlongs handicap may be fought out by Former Senator and Emmas Princess.

The ten furlongs conditions race sees a clash of the generations, and the young brigade may dominate with Irish Derby disappointment Cobra taken to beat Barati.
