Drog fans await price increase confirmation

Drogheda United Supporters Club are awaiting confirmation from the board o whether or not the ticketing price increases announced last week are to actually be implemented. Stand ticket entry to United Park in 2004 was upped to E25 while terrace prices were upped to E20, double the price of last season.

The Supporters club met with board members last night to discuss the matter further, and have released the following statement, "At last night's meeting, the DUSC (Drogheda United Supporters' club) outlined our disagreement with the new ticket pricing, and detailed our own proposals, which were agreed on in our own meeting last Thursday."

"We had a very constructive discussion with the board members, and we recognise their need for a rise in match day revenue in order to meet budgeted costs. We await their decision before making further comment."
