Euro 2004 seedings announced

Portugal, France, Sweden and the Czech Republic have all been named as tops seeds for next summer's Euro 2004 Championships in Portugal.

Teams have been split into four pots for the draw on November 30, with England being named in the second group along with European heavyweights Spain, Italy and Germany.

Holland, who thumped Scotland 6-0 in last night's play-off clash, are the team to avoid in pot three as they line up alongside Croatia, Denmark and Russia. The final qualifiers, and tournament underdogs, complete the list - Greece, Switzerland, Latvia and Bulgaria.
