Petrov expects tough task against Anderlecht

Celtic ace Stilian Petrov is expecting a tough task as his side prepare to take on Anderlecht in Belgium tonight, in what could be a make or break game in the Bhoys' Champions League campaign.

The Hoops will be hoping to bring all three point back to Glasgow after an impressive victory against Lyon in their last European outing, and despite talk of an Anderlecht injury crisis, Petrov insists that tonight's game will be as tough a task as Celtic have faced.

The Bulgaria international said: "I don't really know about Anderlecht or the problems they have had. But in the Champions League every game is hard. We know they need to win to get themselves in the group and this will be ashard a game as any."

"But we also want to win the game and are full of confidence with our recent results, but we know this game is going to be different than our last games. We were unlucky against Bayern Munich having played so well and I think if we play like we did in our last four games we should get something out of the game," Petrov added.

Unlike Anderlecht, Celtic have few injury worries as Alan Thompson, Chris Sutton and Stanislav Varga have all recovered from weekend knocks and safely come through yesterday's training session.
