Celtic win in Champions League

Celtic are back in the hunt in group A of the UEFA Champions League following a deserving 2-0 win over Lyon at Parkhead this evening.

Liam Miller and Chris Sutton got the all important goals and it could have been three but for Alan Thompson's missed penalty.

Miller came on as a second half sub and was only on the pitch for four minutes when he scored. He connected excellently with a header from Henrik Larsson's cross on 70 minutes.

The Swede did the same 8 minutes later when he crossed for Chris Sutton to make sure of the victory.

The Celts now find themselves in joint second place after two series of games.
