Strudwick returns for London Irish

London Irish's fight against relegation from the Zurich Premiership received a major boost today. Skipper Ryan Strudwick has recovered from a serious knee injury that ruled him out for three months, and returns to the starting line-up against Saracens at Vicarage Road on Sunday.

A three-week interval since the Exiles' last league game - the 16-6 home defeat against Harlequins - has enabled several players to regain full fitness. But second-row forward Strudwick's comeback is especially timely, given that Irish are currently two points adrift at the Premiership basement and face a huge game away to relegation rivals Bath next Thursday night.

The Exiles have made seven changes from the side beaten by Quins, with Strudwick, Michael Horak, Mike Worsley, Naka Drotske, Rob Hardwick, James Cockle and Kieron Dawson all starting.
