Drogheda bolster squad

Following the lifting last night of the transfer embargo imposed on the club, Drogheda United manager Harry McHugh has moved quickly to bolster his squad ahead of the new eircom League season.

Shamrock Rovers' Pat Scully has agreed terms and will sign tomorrow subject to his passing a medical, while local player John Flanagan returns after a spell with Dundalk. Drogheda have also secured Steven Gray, who joined them on loan from Southampton last season.
