Drogheda avoid league expulsion

Drogheda United have avoided expulsion from the Eircom League after complying with a request from the League's board of the control for further information in relation to their membership of the league.

A three man League delegation met at Tolka Park and were satisfied with Drogheda's reply, in addition, the club lodged a ¤100,000 bond with the League.

United can now concentrate on tomorrow afternoon's clash with St Patrick's Athletic at O2 Park.
