Leeds man Aitken wanted by Brann

Leeds United's reserve team coach Roy Aitken is wanted by Norwegian club Brann Bergen. Elland Road boss Terry Venables has given Brann permission to talk to the former Celtic star and club representatives are due to travel to England tomorrow to thrash out a deal to become their new manager.

Brann's Per-Ove Ludvigsen told Norwegian newspaper Bergens Tidende: "He (Venables) gave us permission to talk to Roy. I then called him (Aitken) and we had a short conversation. He gave the impression that he was very interested in hearing what we have to say."
