Formula One bosses to sign Chinese deal

Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone and FIA president Max Mosley will sign an agreement to hold a Grand Prix in Shanghai from 2004 to 2010. Shanghai is the richest city in China and a financial hub, and work on a new racetrack has already begun for their opening race in 2004.

"Berie Ecclestone and Max Mosley will visit Shanghai very soon. They will participate in the opening ceremony for work on the track and on October 20th will sign an agreement to hold a Formula One Grand Prix event in Shanghai from 2004 to 2010," said an official from the Shanghai International Circuit Company.
