Logic ruled out of Coronation Stakes

Illness has ruled Queen's Logic out of yet another big race. Last season's champion two-year-old filly will not be able to take her chance in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot a week on Friday, and next month's Sussex Stakes at Goodwood could be her new target. She has already been forced out of the Sagitta 1000 Guineas and Irish 1000 Guineas this spring due to fitness problems.

The coughing which stopped her going to Ireland is also to blame this time, with trainer Mick Channon telling the Racing Post: "We're not going to make Ascot -it will just be too much of a rush. She's off the antibiotics now and she's only coughed three times in the last week. I just haven't been able to work her, that's the problem."
