Ballinrobe meeting goes ahead
Monday, 10 June 2002 12:52Racing at Ballinrobe goes ahead this evening at 5.45pm after an early morning inspection. The western venue also stages a seven-race mixed card tomorrow beginning at 3pm. Tupgill Tipple, easy winner of her last two starts at Clonmel and Gowran Park, bids for the hat-trick in the 1m1f handicap and cannot be sensibly opposed. Burdened with just a 5lb penalty for last Thursday's romp, she should have little difficulty in scoring again, with top-weight Grecian Myth possibly the best forecast option.
Recent Tralee winners Ardkilly Cailin and All Right Clark lock horns in the handicap chase, with the 2m1f trip tipping the balance in favour of the latter. James Burns' Bellflower could offer a little value in the 1m maiden following an eye-catching debut at Fairyhouse last month.
