Dubai Destination to miss Royal Ascot

Dubai Destination will miss his intended engagement in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot. He was taken out of the Vodafone Derby at the 48-hour stage and connections had been planning to drop him back in trip for next Tuesday's Group One feature over a mile.

But a statement on the official Godolphin website revealed the Kingmambo colt has sustained an injury to his near-fore and plans are on hold at present.
