ITV Digital goes into administration

The row over television monies owed to Nationwide League clubs escalated today with the news that ITV Digital has applied to the High Court to be put into administration. TV bosses had wanted the clubs to accept a cut of £130m in the next two years. But the Football league claims more than a third of the clubs would go bankrupt if they didn't get the initial money agreed upon in the terms of a contract signed in June 2000.

ITV Digital now want to renegotiate the terms of that contract.
